being sick while pregnant sucks. i'm conscious enough to update the blog- so that's a major improvement. my fever broke. it had been hanging around for a few days, but it hasn't been back since last night. lance is still doing a really good job taking care of me while i grump, moan, and cough. i guess it's good that this happened now. i may be a bit behind in school but at least i have the whole week off from work to recouperate. i know lance is disappointed that we're not going out of town, but jesus christ, i feel like hell. my voice is starting to come back a little and lance can touch me without triggering a coughing fit, so that's good. don't really have anything to say except that i'm in relativeley one piece and hope that my brain catches up soon.

Baby's good, my throat isn't...
Saw the dr on fri. Baby's heartbeat is strong at 160 beats per minute. She's grown to the right size so far.
I have a ridiculous sinus headache, couppled with an awesome cough and sore throat. Lance is doing an amazing job taking care of me. I realy hope this goes away before we leave town on tuesday. i seem to be sick on vacations more frequently than not.
i feel like i'm copmlainging. in fact, things are really good. i'm just tired, grumpy and achey. perhaps it's time to go back to bed.

*Tummy Tum Tum
Look at this! My tummy keeps getting bigger!

I couldn't wait to remember to ask Lance to take the picture, seeing as though I can't remember a damn thing these days...
Made it through the show much better than expected. It was amazing the change in the students, from "This show sucks. I want to drop out." to "I love this show. We were awesome. Everyone said it was their favorite show!" Pretty incredible what a little audience can do to a performance... Maybe next time they'll trust their teachers (though i doubt it.)
Bought more maternity clothes yesterday, as I on;y had 2 pairs of long pants that fit and they were a wee bit too thin for the snow. It WAS beautiful snow though.
Have my first quiz of the semester tomorrow, and a couple of assignments to turn in. Naturally I'm updating the blog instead. TO WORK TO WORK TO WORK!

Opening Night
The older after-school kids open their show tonight. It's exciting even without any expectations of genius performance. I had a good time making an impromptu glow-in-the-dark mermaid dress and sewing a ton of life-size Barbie aprons. Maybe I'll remember to bring my camera...
Tummy just gest bigger and bigger! Gooooooooooooooo Parker!

Checking In
I keep wanting to put up a post and then talking myself out of it because I don't want to replace the one with Parker's picture! I am forcing myself to get over it.
Got rescued from a wet and freezing adventure by my boss/friend Pinkney's teen-age son changin my tire in the middle of the night on Monday. That was exciting. For Hours...
Tummy is getting bigger and bigger every day. I can feel my insides stretching all the time. I swear Parker is doubling size on a daily basis.
The kids I teach keep kissing my tumy and trying to listen to it, even though I tell them they're not going to hear anything...
The older kids' show opens tomorrow. I'm having a hard time doing my homework instead of making JUST ONE MORE costume or prop or whatever. But then again, when do I NOT have a hard time focussing to do my homework. Case in point: Blog entry...
